(born from 1988 onwards - in case of ensemble, the age limit refers to the average age of the members, while for each member the age limit must not exceed 37)

Final results 2023 edition

Prize concerts with the Southbank Sinfonia Orchestra of London awarded in the latest edition.

The pianist who appears in the following short video is Karen Kuronuma, stealthily filmed during the performance of Rachmaninov's 2nd Piano Concert with the Southbank Sinfonia of London conducted by Simon Over in Anghiari (AR) on 24 July. Karen Kuronuma is also shown in photo at the end of the repeat of the same concert in London at the Benjamin Britten Concert Hall on August 5th.

These are the two prize concerts won by Karen in the "Marco Gennaioli" section at the latest edition of the Competition held in Sansepolcro in 2023. Karen achieved great public success in both concerts and it was a wonderful adventure for her.

The next edition of the Maria Giubilei Competition includes online pre-selection in March 2025 and the final phases in person on 30 and 31 May 2025.

On that occasion, in addition to a rich book of cash prizes and bonuses for attending masterclasses freely chosen by the winners, the competition will award two prize concerts with the London orchestra in one of the 3 sections.

We would also like to point out that there are interesting new features in the Contemporary Composer Section open to the solo piano and piano ensemble up to a quartet.
